HOW IS CROQUETAS CUBANAS MADE?
Ingredients
300 gr of meat (ham or sausage, fish, chicken, pork, or beef previously cooked)
30 milliliters of dry wine
Garlic and onion
Butter
3 tablespoons of flour
350 milliliters of milk
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of ground black pepper
1 pinch of nutmeg
100 grams of flour
100 grams of Breadcrumbs
2 eggs
Sunflower oil

SO HOW TO PREPARE CROQUETAS CUBANAS?
- In a frying pan, heat the butter to make the Cuban croquettes and lightly fry the chopped onion and crushed garlic. Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper to taste, stir and fry for 2 or 3 minutes.
- Now we can add the flour while stirring and, over low heat, lightly cook the whole mixture. Add the milk while stirring and cook until it comes off the bottom, at which time we add the wine while stirring our Cuban croquette dough.
- Let the dough cool slightly and give it the shape and size you like.
- We pass all the croquettes through flour, then through beaten egg with a pinch of salt, and, finally, through breadcrumbs. Repeat the egg and breadcrumbs operation.
- When we have all the Cuban croquettes breaded, we fry them in abundant hot oil and, when they are golden brown, we take them out and let them drain on absorbent paper to eliminate the excess oil.
- Croquetas Cubanas can be served with mustard, fried tomato, mayonnaise, or any sauce you like.
